Government Overview
The City of Halsey is governed by the City Council. Council is an elected government body consisting of six members and is led by the Mayor, also an elected position. Regular council meetings take place on the second Tuesday of each month at 7pm in the Council Chambers located on the second level of City Hall. All members of the public are welcome to attend. Remote participation is also available. See the Agendas & Minutes Page for additional information. 

There are also boards & committees made up of Halsey Citizens appointed by the City Council that handle various topics, such as budgeting and planning in the City of Halsey. 

Linn County Services
Halsey is located in Linn County, Oregon. Law Enforcement and Animal Control services in Halsey are provided by the County. If you are experiencing an emergency, please dial 9-1-1. Otherwise, the non-emergency contact line for the Linn County Sheriff's Office is 541-967-3950.
